Goncagül Cengiz Barış was admitted to the Istanbul Bar Association as an attorney at law in 2012, bringing a wealth of expertise to her practice. In 2014, she earned her LL.M. in Intellectual Property and Competition Law from MIPLC, a distinguished program jointly founded by the Max Planck Institute for Innovation and Competition, Technische Universität München, and The George Washington University Law School.
